To cover some common queries we've created the following compilation of frequently asked questions for my247 customers who are migrating to GO1.

When will this migration occur?
The transfer process will take some time as there are a large number of clients to port from my247's control tower system.We also want to ensure that everything is set up appropriately for each client and to achieve this we will be manually transferring much of your content.

Because of this we cannot predict exactly when your site will be transfered, but we will notify you approximately one week prior to the transfer for your website.

Will their be a cost for this transition?
No charges will apply for a straight transition of your existing website. You will receive an updated content management system to power your website so editing and updating it will be easier than ever, at no extra cost to your normal hosting package.

Will my hosting and domain fees change?
Your hosting and support account charges will not change with this transfer and your domain registration fees will in fact drop. For more details please view our pricing guides or get in touch with us.

It's important that my events appear on the my247 gig guide
We totally understand your concerns here and would not want to transfer you to a system that wasn't better in every way from the old one. We are currently working with my247 to create a link between your sites and the my247 network, so whilst we cannot guarantee that this will be ready at launch we are working hard to get things happening.

I want a new design, who should I talk to?
If you are interested in a new design we suggest getting in touch with us. All my247 customers who get a project quoted by the end of the year will receive a 25% discount so now is the perfect opportunity to get a fresh look for your website.

Do you offer any other services?
GO1 is primarily a web design and development firm, though we do offer extra services such as custom SMS solutions. We suggest contacting us if you have any specific project needs.
